Tansey Warner Guest Information

When you book a rental with Tansey-Warner Realty we do our best to make your stay enjoyable from start to finish. So there are no surprises, here are our rental policies and procedures.

  • RESERVING YOUR VACATION RENTAL: Reservations can be made using our online booking option. Simply put in the dates you want to vacation, find that perfect rental and click on the BOOK NOW button. You may also contact us at 302.539.3001 for reservation assistance. When reservation is made you will be emailed a booking notification. You will also receive a second email with a link to sign your contract.
  • PAYMENT INFORMATION: Payment Options are: Electronic Check, Personal Check, Money Order or Certified Check ONLY WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS To confirm your reservation payment of 50% of rental amount is due within 3 DAYS of reservation booking. Payment can be made at the time of reservation (online or by phone), by calling our office during business hours at 302.539.3001, by using the guest portal (link sent on booking notification) or by mailing a personal check, money order or certified check. Final Payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your reservation after your reservation has been confirmed, you will need to notify us in writing at which time we will then place the property back on the rental market. If we cannot re-rent the property for the same dates, there is NO REFUND and you are responsible for the full amount of the rental. If the property can be re-rented for the same dates, you will receive a refund of minus 15% of total dollars paid.
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE: We offer optional travel Insurance through CSA. Policy is 6.95% of the total rental price including optional services. Policy can be viewed at the following link: https://www.csatravelprotection.com/certpolicy.do?product=GR330
  • FEES:Tansey-Warner Charges all rentals $60 processing fee, $45 damage waiver fee and a $100 administrative fee. Rentals within the town limits of Bethany Beach have an additional 7% rental tax fee. Sea Colony is not within the town limits. All fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.

    Sea Colony rentals are subject to a mandatory recreation badge fee for all guests ages 4 & up. Everyone must have this badge to be on the property. Badges are purchased upon arrival directly from the Sea Colony Beach Shop located at marketplace at Sea Colony. Sea Colony requires a liability waiver signed for all parties at time of purchase.

  • PACKING: Items to pack: Sheets, towels, soap, paper products (ie: trash bags, toilet tissue, etc.). We offer an optional linen package that includes sheets, towels, and bathmats. Linen orders must be placed no later than 2 weeks prior to arrival.
  • CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-In time is 4pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday. You will receive a text message to the number we have on file when property is ready for occupancy. Check-out time is 10am.

    No hassle, no worries! For your convenience there is a lockbox located outside of our office for after hours check-in or check-outs.
  • PARKING:

    Sea Colony rentals receive one reserved parking permit per rental property. They will issue a second parking permit for any non-reserved space if you purchase 3 or more recreation badges. There are no exceptions.
